The problem with the rise of people like Sarah Palin, Christine O'Donnell, Paladino and others is |
|
Edited on Sun Sep-19-10 05:03 AM by mfcorey1
there are many voices from the left on radio and television who are against their insane rants. However, the powers that be of the MSM will not present them in that light. Notice that whenever Sarah says anything they hang onto her every word like it is the new gospel, no matter how ridiculous it is. They are now deprogramming O'donnell and by the end of next week, she will be a shining angel all over the place. Everything she has ever done wrong will be ignored. The voice of opposition on the left has been silenced by the MSM and then they, hypocritically, report that there is no voice. They paint the President as soft even as he speaks out while he is on the stump. Then, as brainwashing does, some on the left buy into the foolishness of the whole setup. Even the president is talking about the left. What the hell has happened to this country? It is more toxic than I have seen it in a long time. Is it because we have a black man? Is it because John McCain made a pact with the devil and unleashed Palin, O'Donell, and Bachman? Has someone bribed the MSM? As the world spins, I am getting off at the Port of Sanity.

2. Rational means were not effective in correcting issues. |

And my guess, is becuase they were ignored other means will be used.
Although things like media saturation and money won't have a say in it. Although some wont change, if they did not listen to reason, why would they believe other methods.
It will be fun, and either way it is not possible to have less of not having beer so things can't get worse anyways.
I decided to listen to good music long ago.

Populists on the left and right share some (many?) grievances against the elite, but diverge on some (many?) issues as well. It would be interesting to see a competition between populists on the right (Tea Party plus any part of the repub base not already committed to the TP) versus the populists on the left. I'm sure that "we" would win, but my guess is the TP is sure they would win, too. ;)

work with these Bachmann / Foxx / O'Donnell / Palin types.
I'm eager to see the next round of polling our of Delaware once word of the witchcraft-dabbling has circulated through the barber shops, beauty parlors, and Jiffy-Lubes.
I hope Delware Republicans decide that Chris Coons would make a better U.S. Senator than Christine O'Donnell.
