1) Let the U.S. taxpayers pay for a Shia majority to kill all the Sunnis

Actually, David Gergen suggested this a few days ago. That the Iraqis are "wily people" and they might just be waiting for that. To have us pay for and train them, then when we leave they Shia will kill all the Sunnis.

I doubt he seriously wants to kill Bin Laden at all. If he is found dead it would be right before the election when the Right is in serious trouble of losing all their power in '08 and they need an accomplishment to swing the tide back in their favor.
