"If Castle had won I'd be asking for his lawn signs and not Chris Coons"
This was in a nicer, more upscale neighborhood where it tends to be more independents and even republicans. He wanted me to bring Chris Coons campaign signs for him and his neighbors. Didn't really want Carney signs but said they wouldn't vote for Urquhart either.

So glad Christine is down there in Sussex County making sure she wins that vote. Does she know a county with 125k residents probably doesn't have enough votes to overtake us folks up North living in New Castle County and our 500k citizens.

And you know, had O'Donnell kept her plans with 'Face the Nation' or that Faux News show, instead of cancelling, perhaps she could have reached out to some of those Independent & moderate republicans here in New Castle county. She's losing them big time because they don't perceive her as someone qualified to hold such an important job.

4. Sussex county
Do you think many of Lewes and Rehoboth voters that are full time residents can do anything? I would say those communities will back Coons. Kent county is Republican but my parents know Miss tea bagger is a loony. Rock the vote at Delaware State University, I live in Fl but have family there still. New Castle has to win this for Coons but sure would be nice to get Kent and Sussex county behind him. Her outing Mike Castle ticked my 86 year old mom. "we always knew he was gay" that was low and dirty.

5. Sussex is the worse of the 3 counties - went 2-1 for O'Donnell
Outside of the beaches you might as well be in the deep south. Kent may be republican but it's sane republican which is how Castle kept tight with that race and won New Castle.

The only way O'Donnell will have people campaigning in Wilmington is if she pays folks. She doesn't have the guts to show her face at places where I went with pride.

Notice she was speaking at the big city of Lincoln. Slower, lower Delaware.

9. Great post. There it is -- local politics kicking in,
and in this case, it sounds like definitely against Christine's Senate bid.

The woman has no business being a public servant. Sounds like a lot of Delaware voters agree.

10. This is a battle between the educated and the non-educated
and I'm not talking about the amount of education that a person has. But what that person does with their brain after all their education is complete. I see these O'Donnell supporters being interviewed and they are frightenly uneducated. They don't care that O'Donnell is doing a serious grift with campaign funds to pay her for her living. THey don't care that O'Donnell can't live within her means. They just are so brainwashed with some form of warped Christianity that they'll let all that criminal activity slide.

11. LynneSin, your posts on the situation in Delaware have
been strictly top-drawer.

Thanks for them, and I'm hoping to catch several more with this fall's election.

A kick with thanks.

:hi:
