4. Much as I agree with what should happen

I'm afraid that O'Donnell will be able to prevail and whatever comes out will be put behind her and she will go on to greater fame and fortune within the tea bagger party. Despite what the rest of us think about Palin and all the ridicule she's been subjected to, she keeps rolling along, getting more acceptance and popularity every day. They both might crash and burn big time if the main stream Republicans push the tea party aside but I'll bet that won't happen. Republicans will hold their noses and come to some sort of accommodation to avoid losing votes and Palin who has just said she might give the 2012 Presidency election a shot might still become a force to be taken seriously as a bona fide Republican. The fact that both Palin and O'Donnell both look ridiculous at the present time is no reason for Democrats to dismiss them as clowns and use the occasion to have a few laughs. That would be a big mistake.

a good communicator, and she's very popular.

Not the best thing for the Dems, if she becomes the face of the conservative future.

Better to have an old, pudgy, graying white man, like Newt Gingrich.
