RW Whiner in the Krugman blog comments section: 'The current crisis was caused by Krugmanism'.
On a post in which Paul Krugman notes the decline in self-censorship of indecent thoughts by the wealthy contributing to the current whining rampant among them, comes this post to demonstrate the immense gulf in realities between the right and left in present-day, post-consensus America:

Decency is not the point. Krugman's denial of science and facts is. And DeLong seems to be the only "serious" economist who joins PK in the denial.

The current crisis was caused by Krugmanism. For those who believe PK's denial of this, go to this devastating rebuttal of PK's latest "flimflam" attempting to shift the blame:
http://freakonomics.blogs.nytimes.com...

The continuing catastrophe (which PK calls a "slump, because he must deny the 20% real unemployment, the record poverty, and the zombie banks that his policies have caused) is due to more Krugmanism. PK got 90% of the stimulus that he wanted (I know; he still whines that it was "too small"). He got Obamacare and its destruction of jobs. He got more bank-government cronyism as he wanted it). As economic science predicted, things got worse.

So does PK do the "decent" thing? Admit he was badly wrong, and retire to teaching the mathematical models, disconnected from reality, that he won his Nobel for? No. He now becomes a Stalinist Alinsky. Tim to demonize the rich.

Now, I like demonizing the rich myself. Many of them are "progressives" who got rich manipulating "progressive" big government. But I also realize that the problem is not greed; people will always be greedy. The problem is Krugmanism, which creates big government that can do this kind of damage.
