Bigot Border Bozos don't like surveillance cameras. LOL

I saw a story on MSNBC on how the bigots who don't like spanish people don't like the towering video cameras that survey the Mexican border near their property. This appears a test program to see if it will work and if it does it will get used all across the border.

The bigots complain that the cameras make it look like they're the ones in prison. LOL

They're getting their bigotry back in spades.

Spanish people make up part of America. Get used to it bigots.

We know them as "Americans." One of them is running for president. Actually, he is Mexican, not Spanish.

9. They propose putting a wall around America to keep the illegals out.
Do they realize that they are making themselves a prison at the same time? A wall works in both directions. Idiots.

18. May I propose a cheaper solution then the wall
Lets have conservative "values" inundate every town and city and hamlet in America like a malignant cancer. Let us destroy the constitution and make the republican party the ruling party forever. We wouldn't need any stinking wall to keep people out then.

29. Bit of a cheat, no?
Edited on Fri May-18-07 02:58 PM by MrPrax
The scale that includes the US is a 10 point spread? and the US is actually on the low end.

Here's the scale:
no data
more than 50%
20% to 50%
10% to 20%
4% to 10%
1% to 4%
less than 1%

Moreover, nearly a third of all US immigrants come from just one country and so if Mexico were removed, then US LEGAL immigration is quite low in comparison to other western countries. In fact the importance of this relationship between Mexico and the US is underscored in the area of remittances.

Immigration to the United States is a recurring phenomenon. Many of the issues we witness today are in fact neither new nor unique. For example, the proportion of immigrants in the United States today—approximately 11.2 percent of the population—is significantly lower than it was a century ago when it oscillated between 13 and 15 percent of the US population. In addition, the rate of US immigration today is substantially lower than that of many advanced post-industrial societies: Australia’s rate of immigration is nearly 25 percent; both Switzerland’s and Canada’s are approximately 20 percent. Indeed the United States seems to have a unique edge as its immigrants are more highly educated, more likely to participate in the labor market, and less likely to commit crimes than immigrants in many other countries facing large-scale immigration such as Sweden, Germany, and France. They also compare more favorably on a host of demographic and socioeconomic indicators, including how quickly they are learning English, than previous waves of immigrants to the United States.

30. When the U.S. has more than TRIPLE the number of immigrants ...
... as the 2nd place nation and those countries such as Saudi Arabia having a greater percentage are even more overtly exploitative of human beings for their labor, irrespective of their rights as human beings, I don't regard the picture as very skewed at all.

As I see it, the issue has to do with trafficking in human beings for their labor and the exploitation by profiteers. Whether 'illegal' or 'guest worker,' I regard such practices as overtly corrupt.

25. And what makes them think that they're NOT in prison.
Made up largely of their own walls they've built around their understandings.

But also made up of the support of many of them for an Administration that is taking away their rights.
