CBC's Don Newman gets to the heart of Fox News and 'Fox News North'
Source: CBC News

... as a news gathering organization, Sun TV is no threat to either of the news channels operated by the CBC and CTV.

... Instead, the Sun Network is designed to enlarge and energize the Conservative voting base, and make money while doing it, just like Fox News in the United States.

... The prime minister and the Conservative establishment are keen to have Sun TV on the air. But perhaps they should be careful what they wish for.

2. Sun Network IS a political arm of your conservative Government but even
more than that it is the arm of the oil and coal and polluting industries which I am sure back it in many ways.
They never give up nor do they stop at anything to get their way. They are a pox upon America's house and are killing this Country's progress.

4. I don't think they can be blocked,
unless they slip up and make some really obvious error, like admitting the truth. They can, however, be denied a must-carry license and be bumped into the higher tiers or packages that one must specifically order.
