When wingnuts claim that they are the folks who respect "personal responsibility", call "Bullshit!"
loudly and clearly. These rabid America-haters wouldn't know personal responsibility if it bit them on the ass!

To begin with, the LACK of responsibility is the very damned FOUNDATION of this media-driven aberration termed the "Tea Party".
Who is the leader of the Tea Party? Ask a Bagger and they will either tell you that they have no leaders, since they are a "grassroots" movement---long pause for laughter---or they will say that they are ALL leaders.

In other words, NO ONE is responsible for the lies, the fear-mongering, the hate speech, or the racism we see and hear at their "events". And, for sure, NO ONE will be responsible if some whacko takes a shot at our president.

Whatever one of these haters does or says, the rest will simply disavow it. "That's not US!" they will exclaim, clutching their pearls, eyes open wide in indignation. And, of course, the radio and tv extremist talkers will take up their defense and ridicule anyone who would be so biased as to blame a "national movement" for the actions of a "single unbalanced individual".

Personal responsibility my ass!

And, whether we're talking about wingnut "media personalities" (i.e., Koch whores)or actual wingnut elected officials, why are they not "personally responsible" for their lies and, in some cases, their crimes?

Recently, Michelle Bachman---long pause for wretching and gagging---screeched to those in attendance at the "I'm Holier Than Thou" summit that Nancy Pelosi had a $100,000 bar tab for booze served on the military planes she flew in. It has since been pointed out that 1.) Nancy Pelosi is a tee-totaler and, 2.) NO alcohol is served aboard military aircraft---to anyone at any time.

No apology. No "Oopsie". No acknowledgement of any kind that the neo-con %^*&@ LIED!

Christine O'Donnell, Delaware's Bagger senate candidate, has claimed that US scientists have cross-bred humans and animals to produce "mice with fully functioning human brains!" -----LONG pause----Yup, she really said that. It's on tape!-----So, if that is not batshit crazy enough to be criticized and disavowed by Republicans who revere "personal responsibility", just what the hell will it take?

These fools are NOT our "respected opponents". They are not worthy of respect and they are undeserving of our tolerance or our courtesy.

I take full "personal resonsibility" for every damned thing I just typed.

1. Most of what the Right says translates to....
"I don't want to pay taxes." Same with their whole "personal responsibility" shtick.

2. It's people for you and me, or it's you or me. That's you or me.
Individual responsibility.
Personal responsibility.
Euphemisms for you or me.

4. When they take responsibility for those eight years...
we can begin a conversation with them. Even one thing during that time would do.

Until then, nah.

I don't trust anyone who has never said "I'm sorry, I was wrong".
