3. I absolutely despise John McCain...in May of 2008...

I was exiled to Orlando, and in my first few weeks there I was in a meeting with the other 3 managers I was working with.
They didn't know me, and I didn't know them, but I was smart enough to quickly surmise they were staunch right-wingers.
So, the pretty blonde one asks me cheerfully "Are you going to vote for John McCain"?
This was pre-Palin by the way.
My response was that I would most certainly NOT be voting for John McCain, because John McCain was a "whore" in my opinion, and he would gladly support any crazy right wing bullshit that was dropped on his desk to sign.
As I sat and watched three jaws drop, I quickly added that he was no "freaking war hero" either and he was like most "Republican heroes" a complete and utter fraud.
They hate me now.
And I'm in their face every day batting down their happy bullshit.
In the fall of '08 I wrote this, and I wonder what they would think because I was thinking about them when I flamed out...

I had little expectation of McCain, I had the expectation that Snowe's vote would match her rhetoric.

So far, it seems Snowe's position has been decided by where the middle vote is in the Senate rather than by any impressive conviction.
