Andrew Card---How much do we really know about him?

Card-the mysterious guy who whispered in the ear of the President that we were under attack while the cameras were rolling.

Card-also the subject of Comey's testimony...

Card-the one who was with Gonzales trying to press the sick and high John Ashcroft into signing an illegal order.

Card-the one according to Comey said that they were only there to wish Ashcroft well after the incident at the hospital.

Card-the one who yelled at Comey over the phone and demanded he come to the White House.

Card-the one who asked Comey if the rumor was true that a large number of Justice personnel were getting ready to resign?


I have done a search on Card, but I cannot find much on him, other than the resignation in 2006. and the typical Bio pages...

I have read this on him. I guess what I am trying to say is that he has been just as complicit in these illegal acts, yet his name is never mentioned... I thought this important, because it is obvious he is up to his neck in the illegal activities as well....

3. We know he's a captain of some sort. At the Mission Accomplished photo op

Bush referred to him as such, "I'm pleased to be here with Captain Card" or some such nonsense.

It sounded a lot like Captain Crunch and made him a cartoon figure to me thereafter.

6. That supposedly mild mannered kidder with Jon Stewart is a

vicous and criminal architect of spying, wmd, killing, money laundering, vote theft - think Cheney - he gets done what Cheney wants done. Cheney does what the Barons and Society/Foundationa want done. Card is an architect of it all at his level which is to take instruction from Cheney and make sure George does it and does it to the best of his ability. Rather was - maybe left to reduce his eventual sentence.
