First Lady to attend Feingold fundraiser

First Lady Michelle Obama will appear in Milwaukee on Oct. 13 at a fund-raising event for U.S. Sen. Russ Feingold (D-Wis.), the White House announced Tuesday.

Michelle Obama's appearance on behalf of Feingold is part of a number of fund-raising events she is scheduled to attend around the country in October, according to a preliminary schedule released by the White House.

Feingold is in a hotly contested race with Republican Ron Johnson. Feingold is seeking a fourth term.

President Barack Obama, meanwhile, will be coming to the University of Wisconsin-Madison campus during his visit to Madison next week.

My assumption, from reading the narrative of all the "hoping Democrats lose in Nov." D.U.ers, that Russ Feingold somehow betrayed the "true left", which is why he is having to battle from behind, and may not win.

So tell me, since this is your belief, what precisely did Russ do to push the "Corporate agenda" like you think President Obama has done, which is now causing him to be behind in the polls?

I'm absolutely certain you all can answer that question. :sarcasm:


And for those of you who don't think Democrats are in trouble because they haven't won every fight, please tell me exactly what you've done to help Senator Feingold (other than write on the D.U.). (I have written his campaign a check - for example.)
