DADT > Defense budget
I just had a thought. my Gay friends my get upset at this idea. As they would be held up as the carrot or sacrificial lamb in this idea... but here goes.

In light of republicans refusal to Repeal DADT even at the sacrifice of the Defense budget. Possibly this is just what is needed to sucessfully reduce spending in defence?
hear me out.

Simply attach repealing DADT to ALL defense spending bills and let the republicans draw down the Defense department wasteful spending for all of us. seems to me the republicans would happily keep DADT in place regardless of how small Defense spending goes.

just a thought as the amount of money spent on Defense could buy all Americans Single payer health care 10 times over. it could provide College tuition for ALL graduating HS seniors. etc etc.
