Ok Baggers, I'm fed up with your platitudes so how about a platform.
You keep screaming you want your country back, ok fair enough... before we hand you the keys its time to take your driving test. We want answers - no we demand answers. We demand to see your platform. Enough with the stupid hats, the ill fitting powdered wigs, the moronic signs, and the american flag underwear, its time for you to prove you deserve to govern this great nation. Its time to prove you have the courage to your idols - the founding fathers. In short, its time to make some tough decisions.

You say you are concerned about the debt, so just exactly what are you prepared to do about it? Will you close the military bases we have in some 80 odd countries around the globe? Will you bring our troops home for Iraq and Afghanistan immediately? Will you shut down Medicare, Medicaid, and Social Security? Will you repeal the tax cuts for the wealthy and the middle class? Will you close the Department of Education, the National Transportation Safety Board, the FDA. the TSA, the FBI and fire the air traffic controllers? Tell us, just exactly what are you prepared to do to reduce the debt?

You say you believe in sanctity of states rights. Well, states rights also mean states responsibilities. Will you kill federal funding of programs that keep cops and fire fighters on the streets and teachers and hot lunches in the schools? Will you make sure that no state gets more federal funds sent to it than it pays into the national coffers? Will you make states and local governments foot the bill for their roads, bridges, power grid, water treatment plants and repairing the devastation of floods, tornadoes, hurricanes, and oil spills? Just how serious are you?

Frankly We are sick to death of Tea Bagger candidates running from reporters and their questions, refusing to appear in open forums and debates, and hiding from voters. You say you want govern this nation, well its put up or shut up time. If you want to be taken seriously - stop clowning around and act like grown ups.

We are Americans and so far we are are not fucking impressed.

1. Great post - time to hear what they actually intend to do, other than
take America back to the dark ages.

2. They have a platform....
...Ten points about less government and sticking to the constitution. Reviewing all existing laws and revoking those that don't pass muster.

It's pretty naive.

What's really scary is their real agenda.

4. They say they want smaller government. Are they willing to reduce the largest part?
Whether it's measured by its scope, its scale, its reach, or its sheer expense, the largest part of our government, by far, is the military.
