Obama's aunt not sorry she accepted public housing
BOSTON – President Barack Obama's aunt says she has no reason to apologize for accepting public housing and other government assistance even though she hasn't contributed to the system.

Zeituni Onyango (zay-TUH'-nee awn-YAHN'-goh) tells WBZ-TV in her first interview since being granted asylum in May that the United States is supposed to follow the teachings of Jesus Christ and "help people, help the poor, help other countries and help women."

The station aired the second part of the interview on Tuesday night.

Onyango came to the U.S. from Kenya in 2000 and was denied asylum by an immigration judge in 2004. She stayed in the country illegally, living in Boston public housing, where she remains to this day.

She calls the U.S. a "great country" and wants to become a citizen.

1. Some more info about Obama's Aunt
Onyango, who lives in public housing and collects a $700 monthly disability check, also insisted "the system" took advantage of her.

"I didn't take advantage of the system," she said.

"I come as an immigrant, you have the obligation to make me a citizen," Onyango said.

2. Well I guess that is what entitlements are all about. That is what we the people owe not what we

Give. We are obligated to take care of people and they dont have to feel grateful for a single dime of it, nor do they. Most would say they don't get enough and are owed 2 or more times that amount as they deserve to live in a certain amount of comfort.

4. Yep. That's exactly right.
We steal the wealth and resources of the world. We send innocent children into forced labor to satisfy our demands for cheap consumer goods. We pollute FAR more than our own territory, and we suck up FAR more than our share of energy resources. The consumer class drinks down the disappearing pensions, raises, and benefits of the working class in the form of Low Low Prices, and will continue to do so without shame or moderation.

Hell fucking yes we "owe". And I don't expect people to bow and scrape in "gratitude" for the few scraps we give them back.
