1. They need to take the weekend off and listen to their constituents
and come back even more resolve. The fight back Congress has helped Bush achieve his lowest popularity ratings ever - they need to keep fighting back.

4. I've finally figured it out. When the war chimp talks about "s'portin da troops
he really means SPORTING them, as in using them as his bloodsport.

Fuggin' WAR CRIMINAL!

5. I suggest left handed logic
Pelosi and Reid hold a press conference in front of the white House. Say they will give bush whatever he wants relative to the war. That the dem party washes their hands of the war and it belongs solely to bush and his enablers in the gop. Every success. Every failure. Every dead GI is the sole responsibility of the commander in chief and the republican party. Say it loud and often. GOP butts in congress will get mightily puckered.

7. White House wants $100 billion blank check with no accountability
...as to how it is spent and with what results to expect. Well, fuck them! Our Democratic congress must hold these bastards accountable for both spending and results. NO MORE FREE RIDE Shrub*! Plus the contractor spending must show results and efficiency, especially where Halliburton and Black-Water Security are concerned.
