Can someone *please* tell Chris Matthews that Bush was never 'elected?' |
|
Beyond calling Dictator Bush 'President Bush,' Matthews frequently discusses why the country "chose" him. The country, by any stretch of the imagination, has never "chosen" Bush. The Less-Than-Supreme Court "chose" him in 2000 and Diebold/Rove "chose" him in 2004. :banghead:
Also, Matthews really needs to get over his obsession with Al Gore's weight. Matthews seems to forget that Bush's cabal - Cheney, Rove, Gonzales - is a tub of lard.

7. 'Hello, Pot? This is Kettle.' Yes, and as another poster noted in... |
|
this forum, Matthews made a weight remark about Michael Moore! Most of the GOPiglet punditry is one big *mad cow burger,* so why is he on Moore's back? LOL!!

3. Right or wrong the majority opinion is that Bush was elected |
|
Until it can be proven definitively otherwise.

a half-million votes more than *.

The problem in 2000 was the Neofascist stole the Florida electoral votes. This was proven well beyond any reasonable doubt and the MSM flatly refused to acknowledge it & report it because the Democrats refused to challenge it.
The electoral college should have banished at least 75 years ago all it does today is throw away about 40% of every vote cast and make stealing elections child's play.

10. Right, regardless of the outcome, Al Gore received more votes... |

than George W. Bush in the 2000 'election.' That fact is *continually* overlooked by the Reichwing media. Polar Bear

12. A president is elected by the electoral vote, not popular. |
|
If anybody says that Bush received more popular votes than Gore, then they are obviously wrong. If it is said that Bush was elected in 2000, then that would be correct because he won the electoral vote. This has nothing to do with the election being stolen, but simply a statement that the president is elected, as we all know, by electoral vote no matter how archaic that may be.

13. Yes, therein lays the heart of the problem: knowing and proving are not the same thing. |
|
We all "know" that the election(s) were stolen, but it has not been "proven" inasmuch as nobody has been held accountable, no election result has been changed. Until then we can "know" all we like. I am afraid that if we went to having elections with all recountable paper ballots that there would be some who would never accept a Democratic defeat without calling the election stolen. If the election if fair I can accept the result that sometimes voters prefer the other candidate. It's not that I am looking forward to a Democrat losing, it is just that I am looking forward to the day when we can accept such a loss as being legitimate.

14. Since there was no 'riots in the streets' on Dec. 12, 2000, you can be sure... |
|
the GOPiglets will continue to steal elections, unmolested. Too bad the 'Left' doesn't have a leader who is willing to actually fight. If the shoe was on the other foot, Rove would have funded an army to protest the outcome. Yes, there are a few in Congress who actually assert themselves, but people need to open their eyes and see that we may actually need a 'revolution' to remove these predators from power. Polar Bear

8. Yes, I think you're correct. But, Matthews frames philosophical discussions... |
|
based on the premise that 'the country chose Bush,' which is false. I wish he would add the disclaimer, prior to launching into such discussions. Polar Bear
