Even if Arizona gets rid of "Sheriff Joe," the rot will continue. |
|
Any sheriff trying to clean house after "Sheriff Joe" leaves, will have to kick half that county's deputies out.
Arizona is stuck with "Sheriff Joe" for decades after he dies.

1. When an example is made of a miscreant, fear can serve as an amazing corrective. |

4. There has been one quietly positive note about Arizona consciousness |
|
Sheriff Joe's vote share has dropped in each of his last three campaigns
(info courtesty of Wikipedia)
in 2000, Joe took 66.49% of the vote
in 2004, Joe was down to 56.74%
in 2008, Joe was down to 55.2%
I think that, at least with the voters in Maricopa County, the haze is slowly clearly and the poison is draining away.
