So I'm watching our local Fox news affiliate news channel
and they have a spot on called "Watchdog.org". As I'm watching it I'm thinking to myself, what kind of fake crap news story is this? So I go to their website just to see who they are. Lo and behold I look at the "non partisan" contributors and find out this is another slick astroturf front group.

Question: Is this "news" segment on your local Fox channel?

1. The affiliates ae not the same as the network
They contract to use some of the network's content, but they remain independent, with nobody else controlling the rest of their programming or their news reporting.

Some of them actually are pretty good, reporting stories you'd never see on the F network--like the Phoenix affiliate that's been doing some good reporting on the ties of Gov. Brewer's staff to a private prison company that would benefit from her actions as Governor.

If the watchdog segment is carried by affiliates, it's something over which they have no control.

3. That's why I'm wondering if other local affiliates are carrying this segment.
The "org" is a scam from the word go.

2. I haven't a clue as I stopped watching local channels 15 years ago after
the local fox channel took the Rocky and Bullwinkle show off and replaced it with the Rush Limpdick show.

4. That's like swapping a Monet with dogs playing poker.

5. More like swapping it with what the dogs deposit after they've eaten. nt
