The Onion on Repukes Blocking DADT
Senate Republicans voted against a defense spending bill that included a provision to repeal the military's "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" policy regarding homosexuality. What do you think?

"Good, I'm sick of the government butting into our personal lives to try and undo laws they made governing our personal lives."

Shane Brenneck
Peeler
"Why don't they just use a system of color-coded holsters to find out who's gay, like my gun club does?"

Tim Velez
Unemployed
"It's a good sign that the Senate Republicans acted not out of prejudice, but out of partisan vengefulness."

8. Well, for some of them I'm sure it is.
Though I'm betting most Repubs did it out of both. And then of course a few like Snowe and Collins who did it strictly as an attempt to mass-fellate the entire Tea Party.

4. Doesn't it kill you how they get right to the truth, the simple truth,
while the MSM blathers on and on and on?

5. Having remembered (vaguely) the likes of Cronkite and Harry Reasoner
and Howard K. Smith, it does indeed.

Comedy always speaks the truth we don't want to hear--never more than it does now.

6. If you only get your news from The Onion, The Daily Show and The Colbert Report
you're actually more informed than anyone watching or reading anything else.
