Get ready, folks. Here comes "SON OF CONTRACT" Be very afraid. Well, OK, maybe not

In an attempt at a repeat performance on Gingrich's stealth victory in 1994, the Republicans are going to reveal their
anti-Obama (whatever that is) agenda today, and think they're going to present some thundering new document that will
reveal once and for all to the American voter why they deserve to be put back into the majority in House and the Senate.

And this is going to be presented by whom? House Minority Leader Bonehead? The same clown who angrily cited the Constitution,
only he didn't (he was reading from the Declaration of Independence and didn't know the difference)? If he's as accurate this
time as he has been in the past, what he'll be presenting will be as useful to our country as a COMPACT WITH ARMENIA, or maybe
a CONTACT WITH ARGENTINA. The Republican "agenda" remains a Bridge to Nowhere, until they can come up with some better ideas on
how to remedy the total mess that resulted from the last time they were in power.

I think the person I most envy tonight is Rachel Maddow. She gets to demolish it on national TV and laugh in their faces
at the same time. Some people have all the luck, I tell you...............

1. Yup, I think they may have just saved this election cycle for us.
Would have been nicer if the Dems had actually given us something to vote FOR....but at least this changes the subject.

2. I hate to agree with you, but I do to a degree
You would have thought Obama would have learned by now (maybe he has) that "nice and rough" has more horsepower
than "nice and easy."

Still, it's not wrong to remember that it takes half a year to build a house, but it only takes a second to blow it up.

3. My dear DFW!
I cannot believe the arrogance of those people. They claim to speak for all Americans, or at least the rich ones...

I guess they haven't yet figured out that THEY LOST THE ELECTION.

Recommended.

5. They see things differently
The president is a non-American Muslim, elections should be decided by money from whack-job billionaires
and pre-programmed electronic voting machines, and Thomas Aquinas was a more important figure in American
history than Thomas Jefferson.

Health care is bad, education is bad, poverty and disease are good, and all the world is Christian and
speaks nothing but English with an American accent.

How do you have an intelligent conversation with people who really believe that stuff? How do you try
to present your country to the rest of the world when it elects some of these people to Congress to
decide our military and economic policy?

Sometimes I think it would be easier to build the Pyramid of Gizeh with one hand tied behind my back.

6. Rachel did indeed come through
What amazed me is that they had the gall to incorporate a whole list of items that were included in
the Health bill earlier this year, and are now saying they were their ideas.

They must have looked at Fox noise putting a "D" in front of Republicans who went bad, and said, "hey,
check this out, we can put an 'R' in front of their best ideas and run on them!"
