We should take a lesson from Justin Morrill
Morrill (not sure I spelled it right) was from Vermont and in the 1850s he started the fight for Land Grant Schools. He fought to get it passed only for Bucannon to veto it, then he fought on until in 1862 Lincoln signed it. Even then it was fought against but Morrill kept fighting for years. Today we all benefit from his hard and long fight. We must learn from his fight that sometimes we have to keep on fighting and not quit because it isn't going as fast or well as think it should. We are making progress in our current fights for improvement although maybe not as much as we want, but we must NOT abandon the fight. We must not give up on those who are helping us get our goals nor should we let our enemies win by quitting. The choice is ours and we should follow the example of Justin Smith Morrill.
