After all the risky, extremist, and just plain weird stuff he's come up with during this campaign, Talking Points Memo reported Rand Paul just used references to Hitler to incite fear and scare voters.

But you can't just compare our country's current state of affairs to Nazi Germany before the rise of Hitler, waffle on whether you meant it or not, and think it's not offensive. References to Hitler have no place in any discussion regarding the future of Kentucky and our country.

Look, we're tied in the polls. We can beat Rand Paul. But we'll need your help.

This isn't the first time Rand Paul has gone over the line with Hitler references.

He's starting to show a real pattern here -- from the time he compared recruiters for our defense forces to Hitler's methods of recruitment in Germany, he's consistently acted in a risky and dangerous way.
