Blah Blah blah...
The GOP wants to reform the Tort process right out of existence. And if the GOP control the government, that essentially means there is no recourse for the common man.
What they really want is to take away the ability for the private sector to handle regulation.
Think about it for a moment. If the government won't deal with product safety, workers rights and a host of other problems, let the private sector do it.
The right to take a large corporation to court in order to hold it accountable is what we really are talking about.
Are there problems with the legal system in this country. You bet, but remember this, most of the large rewards are awarded by people like me and you, people who serve on a jury. What could be more American than that?
It's just another way to tilt the system more toward the rich and powerful.

1. You know if the Republicans get back in the Congress |

They will be busy gutting product safety and all those other issues that are dear to our hearts.
And the last thing we need is the system tilted more to the rich and powerful. We have little enough say as it is.
Recommended.
