CBS News 'bout to catapult the propaganda

regarding that wonderful (from the charter school system movement POV)documentary, you know that one about Superman.

After all they are doing all they can to destroy the public school system...

I hate this corporate environment and I am damn glad I DO NOT have kids these days.

1. Joe and Mika were talking about it.

They said people came out of the movie crying. It sounds very powerful. I wonder if the teacher advocates will see it to critique it or if they will avoid it altogether.

2. I'll make a point to watch it

but I am seriously glad I don't have kids. I'd have to find a way to leave the US to a country that actually does more than just pay lip service to education.

3. Kids are doomed ...in so many ways.

Eventually no more gas ...compete with 3rd world slave labor ...pollution ...global warming ...dead oceans etc

4. We went to the supermarket today

here in Mexico City.

The cashier was asking how to spell a word... she did indeed end primary school... but my mom turned to me, since this was such a damn basic question.

Well she is the kind of employee the powers that be want... perfect model, no matter where. Enough where they can run a cash register, or say high at Wally Mart, but not more.
