Nuke official's comments stir security concerns

Feds seek answers after former chief at Palisades plant told magazine he was a hired assassin.

Federal nuclear watchdogs and members of Congress are seeking answers after a former security director at a western Michigan nuclear plant gave a bizarre series of interviews to Esquire magazine in which he claimed to be a hired assassin.

William E. Clark, who until recently was security chief at the Palisades nuclear power plant near South Haven on Lake Michigan, told the magazine for an article in its June edition that he had worked as a government assassin, killing people in Vietnam, New Orleans and Iraq.

The article suggested most of Clark's claims were false and that he was emotionally unstable

The Nuclear Regulatory Commission, which is responsible for safety and security at the nation's nuclear plants, has sent questions on the issue to Entergy Corp., the plant's current owner, according to Viktoria Mitlyng , a spokeswoman for the agency's regional office in Illinois. Consumers Energy Co. owned Palisades at the time Clark was hired; a third company, Nuclear Management Co., managed the plant for Consumers.

shit under the Bush Junta. Disaster response. Food safety. Environmental regulation. Federal financial solvency. NASA. The Dept. of Justice. The National Guard, the Reserves and the entire U.S. military. The rule of law. Schools. The student loan program. Credit card usury. Gas gouging. U.S. manufacturing, job outsourcing. National security.

If they ARE planning some sort of Nazi Germany thing here, you have to wonder WHAT they are planning to nazify: a broken country with mothballed factories, a $10 trillion deficit and decimated services? They instead seem to be a Wrecking Crew--a Looting Expedition.

And putting a loony or a hit man in charge of a nuclear facility seems much akin to putting a race horse expert in charge of FEMA. The QUALITY of the U.S. government has been SEVERELY HARMED. Half-wits, Regent University prom queens and sadists have been put in charge!

Ever see the movie "The King of Hearts," where the denizens of a loony bin take over the town, during a war? That's what this reminds me of. But at least those bizarre folks were not Republicans.

This junta is so bad that I think we are going to see a lot of strange and crazy behavior emerging--and odd tales like this. Who knows what has been going on, in secret prisons and torture chambers, and with mind-control experiments? They are a crazy-making regime, just on the face of things. Congenital liars, involved in massive and terrible crimes. They've no doubt messed up a lot of people. I fear for our U.S. troops, for instance, and what they may be going through, mentally as well as physically--and the lawless mercenaries...God...Blackwater, Titan Cacci...brutalizing Iraqis and Afghanis and others...death squads, torture. Not to mention the people with bent minds in more ordinary occupations--DoJ lawyers, fucked up Bushite bureaucrats, "christian" loonies. The hatred and self-hatred that is being generated must be huge, as the filth, hypocrisy, corruption and lies of this junta come out. I shudder to think of the consequences of all this to our society.
