I found KOA tent sites for $53 a night

5. Whoa, $53 a night for a tent site! It HAS been a long time since
I was camping! Could you find 3 other people to get a hotel room, splitting the cost? You will still have to pay to park in DC, with or without a room, and that ain't cheap either.

9. What is the plan to get back and forth from the KOA?
They usually are not that close to town. Whatever you end up doing, have a great time.
