It's really a joke .
Almost everyday I hear some host on a radio show or a caller with all these grand ideas of how to change our political system .

So far I have not heard one idea that has not been brought up before , years ago .

I should be obvious by now that the 2008 elections are way over funded which just about kills campaign finance reform for the next 6 years since we have almost two years to go before the next presidential election takes place and then another 4 years of god knows who will be running this mess of a country .

I only bring this up because there is so much going on right now and here we are right in the same place stuck in an insane occupation with a senate held captive by weak actions .

I can't imagine ever having an election where the best candidate has a chance to even enter the running unless they are backed by crooks and corps and lobby groups or have millions of their own money to spend .

This idea of how much money hands us the president just reinforces the fact the money runs everything and humanity takes the back seat always .

It's even become more and more a how you look campaign like a twisted american idol show .

There is not one single area in this country that is not broken into hundreds of pieces and there is not a glue to bond them back together again . We are told to get used to this and adjust , sit back and wait .

I constantly hear it's going to take a long time to fix any of the damage this bush admin has rained upon most of the people .

I read one post hoping the stock market will crash and in an odd way I can understand the frustration , when one is down and out already without any prospect of hope to pull themselves up by their boot straps then why on earth would they care if others failed and joined the group of lost souls , this almost seems what it will take to wake up this country to take to the streets and take this damn country back .

I recall the savings and loan scam where many people ready to retire lost everything and had to go back to work most likely for the rest of their lives and no one seemed to care about these people as long as it does not affect you then it's just fine other than to say , what a shame and that's as far as this goes .

I have to wonder , the people who have 401K's and stocks what happens when this company decides to outsource or close down or file bank rupt.

I don't feel anyone is safe in this surreal america .
