So... Basically... The Party Of Whack-Job-Nuts And The Party Of Spineless Noodles...
have agreed to make the lame duck session, where there will be NO political consequences for their votes, the arena of serious policy debate.

No wonder all are hated.

:evilfrown:

From Romeo and Juliet:

Where be these enemies? Capulet! Montague!
See, what a scourge is laid upon your hate,
That heaven finds means to kill your joys with love!
And I, for winking at your discords too,
Have lost a brace of kinsmen. All are punish'd.

4. Maybe... Yet
I'll be voting for Jerry Brown, Barbara Boxer, and Ami Bera against Dan Lungren. Plus Prop 19 and 25 to name a couple.

If DiFi were on the ballot, not so much.

Patrick Murphy (PA) seems like he has some oomph! Too bad he doesn't decide.

10. While I agree about the nonspineless list - Sanders is not a Democrat.
He's a weak Socialist, not a hard SOCIALIST economically, but a moderate American socialist.

I'd like the guy in person but I fall two clicks to the LEFT of him.

7. The Rasmussen poll w/51% favoring full extension melted their iron spines.
Edited on Thu Sep-23-10 09:28 PM by pa28
Seriously, the tax extension issue was a gift and the most favorable election issue I've ever seen for Democrats and yet we punted the ball. Even the White House recognized we had a winner and seemed willing to go out until November and hammer the point that Republicans would not let anybody have a tax cut until the richest got theirs first.

A sure winner . . . gone. Break out the profiles in courage award for Congressional Dems.
