Poll question: Extend the Under $250K tax rates BEFORE the election
Extend the Under $250K tax rates BEFORE the election as a separate bill.

Vote on over $250K cuts later... or never.

2. No, because both would pass.
There is no value in having 50 Dem defections before an election. And it doesn't put Republicans on the spot any to vote for both.

4. Ummm... just how do you drive the "conservadems" from office
without electing a Repuke who you also want to drive from office?

5. By making them vote for the radical reich wing agenda until the people are damned sick ad tired of
their BS and vote them out. How do you want to get rid of them?

6. Democrats who won't vote to extend cuts for those making under
$250,000 are demonstrating their lack of confidence in our President. Seems a show of support would bolster the Democratic Party's image and be a morale booster to many of us - the kind of boost that would cause more of the happy 2008 voters to get off their duffs and make sure the House and Senate remain a Democratic majority.

7. It has nothing to do with their lack of confidence in the president
They are just voting in their own self interest and to hell with this country and its people.
