Possible Directions our Nation could take in the near Future.

The way things look to me at the present moment:

1. If the Neocons should win both houses in November, and also the
White House in 2012, this would spell the beginning of the end of
democracy in our nation. It would be self-destruct, if the Crazies
should take over. Psychopaths can't help behaving the way they do.

2. If the Democrats should win in November and also in 2012, our
present shaky type of democracy will continue for a while longer. For
me, this alone is a strong enough reason to vote Democratic. Where
there is life, there is hope.

3. And what is that hope? Some really good Democratic leaders will
be voted into the White House and Congress in 2016. And this could
happen only if Obama and the Congressional leaders would change their
present weak-spined style of governing. Democrats can't take any
more of it. Many have already reached their limit now, and most will
have had it by 2016, should there be little or no change -- even if
the alternative is self-destruct.

4. This is what I see. Do you agree with the above, or do you see
other possibilities?

1. Of course other variations are possible, such as: losing only

one of the houses of congress in November, 2010; or losing
one or both houses in 2012, but retaining the presidency.
Each situation could cause some difference in effect in the
whole issue.
