My uncle's doctor says he needs to be on oxygen 24/7
the social security doctors say he doesn't need oxygen at all.

Social security damn near killed my ex about 20 years ago. My ex applied and was denied, in the time in between the hearings he developed a mass under his armpit the size of a grapefruit. The social security doctors said it was just catscratch fever and would go away. My ex's primary ordered a biopsy and discovered it was non-hodgkin's. My ex got his social security application approved after that.

I think social security doctors are scum, I truly do.

I hope your uncle gets the ruling he so desperately needs.

at their damn offices and made the situation clear to the whole waiting room until they changed their minds.

That was in the late 70s. I think today Mom would just be arrested.

5. First time I ever heard of Social security having doctors
who treat people. People usually choose their own doctor when on Social Security.

6. Who are 'Social Security doctors' and what do they have to do with O2 treatment?
Was this a denial of Social Security ELIGIBILITY on the basis of disability?

9. It's the MD who examines you on behalf of social security
you can go see these doctors while being in a wheelchair and oxygen and they will give you a total clean bill of health..denying you social security benefits.
