Folks wondered why the President was focusing so much criticism on Boehner personally
Could be they had a heads up about the breaking news about his rumored affair. At any rate, their decision to attack him by name was a prescient political move.

Should be interesting to see if republicans keep him in place as their rebuttal chief and their policy representative. Rep. Clyburn is already saying that republicans are lining up to replace him . . . http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2010/09/24/clyburn-alleges-gop-deput_n_738365.html

. . . with the perception of their party membership dominated by kooks and liars. Bachmann would be an effective distraction from any compelling political or legislative agenda they intend to promote.

7. I have always thought that if Republicans take the House there would be a push to replace Boehner.
Many bat shit crazy Republicans think he is liberal while there are others with a thirst for power who want to take his place or gain a leadership position.
