Why Jack Welch is Wrong about Obama
"On CNBC Thursday, former General Electric CEO Jack Welch discussed the threat facing corporate America: the Obama administration's persistent "anti-business" bias. Welch cited Obama's early attacks on corporate junkets to Las Vegas, policies that have "stuck the gears" of business, the shoddy treatment of bondholders in the Chrysler and General Motors bailouts, and the vilification of BP. In the recently passed health care reform, he said, the insurance industry "gets killed." And so on."

What amazes me is that this article is actually pretty fair, and doesn't feed into the right wing and media's lies

1. I saw that clip. What a jackass. The funny thing is that later I heard the village pundits mention
Welch as a possible economic adviser to Obama. These people are insane.

7. Enough to make one wonder if Jack has lost much of his cognitive reasoning: hopefully it's just a
case of being eaten up with and blinded by RW ideological malarkey. :)

11. It's a good sign Obama is doing something right if Jack Welch is unhappy.
Did CNBC at least say that General Electric is their parent company? The fact that he's using his former subsidiary as a propaganda outlet is pretty shameless. Of course GE-NBC is used as an outlet for their parent company's conservative pro-corporate viewpoint everyday so maybe they don't feel the need for an extra warning.

13. The banks received 700 billion in bailouts
and trillions in guarantees. Obama has been very friendly towards big business.
Jack cannot stand the slightest pull on the reins.
