3. There was an indie researcher who looked in

Newspapers across the country and found 400 instances of SWAT teams battering in the wrong door at the wrong address.

Pets killed, kids thrown to the floor, and sometimes parents wounded or killed too. For having the misfortune to be the wrong address!

Four hundred incidents is not the total - many such crimes go unreported in smaller communities where the newspapers tend to not report any bad news about the local police.

The important part, of course, is not to pillory individual LEOs; the important point is to view these incidents in aggregate, and to use them to analyze the success or failure of our LEO training/policy in the USA.
