Man Files Complaint Over Bikini-Clad Police Officer

A man in Albuquerque filed a complaint last Friday after he said he was pulled over by two bikini-clad police officers off a freeway exit in June.

Ilia Spilca said he was driving to work on northbound Interstate 25 last June 23 when an officer pulled him over after he exited the freeway.

“They said, 'What do you have to drink?' I said, 'Nothing, water.' 'I'm going to ask you again what do you have to drink?' I said (for the) second time, 'Water, that's it,'” Spilca said.

2. Filed complaint over two months after it happened

But he says "“I was very angry; I was shaking,” Spilca said." If he was that upset, why did it take him two months to file a complaint?

I'm less than inclined to believe him.

3. According to the article, complaint was filed with two different offices

From the sub heading at the top of the article “Internal Revenue Office Conducts Investigation On Complaint”

From the fourth paragraph in the article “…Spilca filed a citizen's complaint with the Internal Review Office…”

How much can we believe from an article that gives two different offices, one of which probably has nothing to do with any of it.

7. This sentence doesn't jive.

"In the complaint, Spilca said the two officers who chased him were wearing bikinis and had guns tucked into their shorts."

They were wearing bikinis, yet there was enough cloth to hold, I presume was their service Glock or equivalent?
Bikinis, or were they wearing shorts, cutoffs, what? Service arms ain't usually real light.
