Generic Ballot Virtually Tied: Democrats 46%, Republicans 45%
PRINCETON, NJ -- Gallup's generic ballot for Congress for the week of Sept. 13-19 shows a 46% Democratic and 45% Republican split in registered voters' preferences for the midterm congressional elections. It is the second week out of the last three in which the two parties have been virtually tied.

OK, media where are YOU. Three weeks ago you said the Democrats were doomed

Everyday on bloomberg I hear on lying analyst after another come on and tell us the Democrats hate business, wall street is going up because they believe that the Democrats will lose

I wonder what they will do if the Democrats retain control of both houses?

What excuse will they give?

1. It might be that people are beginning to focus on the election.
I sure can't think of any other reason for it. Maybe there's hope for the basic intelligence of the American voter after all. We'll see, I guess.

3. That's pretty old news, last Monday's. Century ago, in Gallup time, where from week to
Dems are tied, then minus 10, then tied again, then minus 10 again. I am not saying they are any more inaccurate than CNN, for example, but we should wait till Monday to see if this tie still holds for Gallup.
