In doing this sort of division it is useful to first cancel out corresponding 0s.
Three trillion .................. 3,000,000,000,000 (actual number is $2.7 trillion)
Three hundred million ...............300,000,000 (population of USA)

As the last eight 0s are common to both numbers
.......... 3,000,000,000,000
....................300,000,000
we can reduce the division to 30,000 ÷ 3 which gives 10,000 - ten thousand.

or 9.something thousand to be exact (i am terrible at math, kp)
