GPS with Fareed Zakaria: -Presidents of Turkey and Israel. They were once friends, their nations were once unlikely allies. But this week in New York, President Shimon Peres of Israel and President Abdullah Gul of Turkey were unwilling to meet with each other. But they each sat down with Fareed Zakaria -- so they will virtually "meet", only on GPS.

Fareed sits down with England political superstar - Deputy Prime Minister Nick Clegg to discuss Britain's economic woes, his coalition government and what the U.S. might be able to learn from the U.K.'s newfound bi-partisanship.

CBS Sunday morning- The announcement this week the "Great Recession" is officially over came as quite a surprise to the millions of Americans who are either out of work or just struggling to make ends meet. While the recession may technically be over, the after-shocks of high unemployment, depressed home values and debt are likely to reverberate through the economy for years to come. Times have changed, possibly forever, and we're living with a new economic reality many economists are starting to refer to as "The New Normal." What many people want to know is, how long will this "new normal" last? And when will we get back to the "old normal"? Correspondent Martha Teichner looks into it.

1. I have walked away from Sunday morning political shows.
Edited on Sat Sep-25-10 07:58 PM by Zen Democrat
NBC's ''Meet the Press''- Mike Pence is a deal breaker - won't watch him.

CBS' ''Face the Nation'' - Marco Rubio, Sal Russo, Chief Strategist, Tea Party Express - They MUST be kidding!

ABC's ''This Week'' With Christiane Amanpour" - Sen. Mitch McConnell - I've seen my fill of this clown.

CNN's ''State of the Union''- Sen. Joe Lieberman, Rep. Marsha Blackburn - There's just nothing left to say.

There was a time not so long ago, when I watched and/or recorded every one of these programs. I don't turn them on anymore unless there's a compelling reason to do so. This Sunday is another one without any compelling reason. YAY I can sleep late again!

If political junkies like me stop watching MTP and FTN, their ratings must be seriously sagging. Personally, I don't think I can watch MTP ever again with David Gregory on there. He insults my intelligence every time he opens his mouth.
