If the polls don't change between now and November, Kendrick Meek can't win |
|
in Florida. Should we support Charlie Crist who apparently can win?
Don't get me wrong - I would love to see Meek be the next senator from Florida, but from a practical standpoint, isn't making sure Rubio doesn't get in the Senate the best thing for this country?

1. Unfortunately, yes. There's not really any other option to keep Rubio out. n/t |

16. There is another option. |

Let Rubio in and get in a governor who will fight political corruption and put oversight on every politician's activities with private interest.
Trust me on this one. If you allow the State Attorney's Office and the FDLE pursue political complaints this state would clean up.

Otherwise it is pure BS.
WTH are you advocating for a non-democratic candidate on democratic underground?
(And YES, I do live and vote in Florida)

is being picked to win, not Crist. Do you really think that most dems are going to abandon Meek and vote for Crist. I do not see that happening in NE FL.
And what happens if Rubio wins? The sky will not fall and the 4th horseman isn't coming.

10. Well do what you want. |

When Crist turns on you don't come crying to us wondering why he didn't caucus with the dems.
He has not nor will not promise to caucus with the democratic party. If that is the case he is of no good use to the democrats. What IF Rubio wins?? He will not be the first tea bagger in DC and the sky will not fall. He is not running for FL governor, thank GOD for that one. Alex Sink is doing quite well right now and she should have a good turnout. She will be good with vetoing the teabagger's agenda in Tallahassee.

I just don't want Rubio in the senate. It has nothing to do about crying back to DU when/if crist wins and doesn't caucus with the Dems.

5. I hate this dilemna because I refuse to vote outside of democrat... |
|
But you know, I would consider it myself. Here in Delaware, there are rumors that Mike Castle might do a write-in campaign. Thing is, if he does he would be taking from Chris Coons votes (the democrat) and not much from O'Donell (the whackadoo). If I seriously thought there was a chance that O'Donnell might win and Castle was the only one that could beat her, I would seriously have to consider it.
Fortunately it's looking like Castle wouldn't enter and polls show that with a Castle write-in that Coons would still do strong. But you know you never can say never when it comes to having a nutjob as your senator.

6. Do you think Meek ever would endorse Crist and drop out? |
|
If not, "Democrats for Crist" surely would do permanent damage to the Democratic Party in Florida, and Rubio still could win.

If Meek's name is on it, that's who I'm voting for regardless if he steps out.

I no longer care who, but someone needs to drop out and endorse the other guy to stop Crist.

9. If Rubio wins by 1 vote |
|
come and talk to me, other than that, I am going with Meek. Crist has already F'ed over his old friends when the political winds shifted.. what makes people think he will have some new found undying loyalty to his new friends?
If the winds shift back to the right, look for ol Chain Gang Charlie to be to the right of Rubio.
But hey, vote how you wish, for me, there is no way in hell I will vote for him.
