If Democrats wanted to win they would be lining up to be on the weekend political shows but
The shows are all stacked with heavy weight Republicans with no Democrats in sight..just like they are every Sunday week aftewr week, month after month year after year...Are Democrats just plain stupid or afraid to admit anything they have done, let alone brag about anything? I have just about given up..

6. Have you ever heard a single Democrat say they tried but could not get on?
How on earth are Democrats supposed to get their message (if they have one) out to people if they do not even try?

2. What makes you think they're invited?
The media has an agenda, and it's not Democratic.

3. Do they even ask Democrats or progressives to come on?
And when the Dems or progressives do come on, do they stick to the Blue Dogs or stack the decks against them; run a 3 to 1 against the liberal?

Face it, the Sunday morning shows think progressive issues and activism are snoozes. Running Fear is so much more entertaining...

Fox News Sunday is coming up and I'm sure all the Democrats will be on that. Or maybe they'll have Haley Barbour debate Newt Gingrich like usual :banghead:

7. Don't give up
That's what the right wants you to do, give up, stay home, be depressed, and most of all "NOT VOTE"! The media is owned by the right wing, and that's why most of the news you hear is about how "bad" things look for the democrats, how Obama is not popular, how it's all the democrats and Obama's fault that we are in the mess we are in right now! The media puts republicans on their shows because they like to stack the deck in favor of the right wing. If they can depress those on the left from voting, then they win!

I agree democrats need to get the message out, but it's not easy when the media is controlled by the right! If we give up they win, if we get out and vote, they lose. Everyday I hear about how it looks so bad for democrats, yet I check out polls and find that some democrats the news has said look like they might lose their seat, are in reality doing better, but you don't see much of that news on the TV, only on the internet. Boxer is doing better and coming up in the polls, my senator Patty Murray has gone up in the last polls, and I am sure many others are doing much better than what we hear on TV.

If we can get out the vote then we win and the lose, and that's what we need to be doing!

8. I have concluded many of our leaders
kind of dont care whether they are in charge or not.
If they really cared they would fight to keep our majorities. They had the wind at their back and let it wuss on thru their outstretched hands.
Im disgusted.
I will still vote but Im more pissed at dems, like I would b e pissed at a family memeber who it appears willingly drops the ball in a game for life and death.

9. So, all you gotta do is call a network and TELL them you'll
be on their marquee Sunday show?

Wow, I thought the Network invited guests to comment on whatever topic they decide is top for the week.

10. A Democrat...
...running down other Democrats is counter-intuitive, so it's interesting programming. That'll get programmed.

A Republican running down Democrats is probably good camera copy, because the runner-down can be counted on to do something crazy. (How often do you see a Dick Lugar? Not-crazy. Not right, but not crazy.)

A Republican running down other Republicans is counter-intuitive, so it would be interesting programming, that'd get programmed -- if you could find a Republican to do it.

And when all else fails, you have John McCain on. He's a brand. In the early days of PC"s the saying was 'No one ever got fired for buying IBM -- only for not buying IBM."

12. You missed "Meet the Press", apparently.
Rep. Chris Van Hollen (MD) was on against Mike Pence. Van Hollen kicked the crap out of him. It was the first time I ever saw a Democrat call out a repug on the "tax cuts create jobs" meme. It was also pointed out to Pence, either by Van Hollen or Gregory, that more people wanted the health care bill strengthened rather than eliminated. The video is not up as I type this, but worth looking for later today. Definitely worth watching, especially because it's one of those rare times you'll see David Gregory putting a repug on the spot, rather than sucking up to him/her.

It was a very thorough, air-tight smackdown, even Gregory did good.

14. There is no longer bang for the buck -- no one is watching them...
True that then things get reported in the news on the web but sometimes it's best to avoid that as well since it's all reduced to one-liners, often inaccurate ones at that.

Of course it's nothing new. It's been going on for years. They don't want to win.
