Not sure where it originated, but it's going around like wildfire.

7. It was a link shared by a friend
It's being shared and reshared throughout my circle of friends. I think if you just paste the link into facebook, you can share it, too--not entirely sure how it all works.

...Sort of like, you know, how they twisted our Constitution into a call for a Christian nation.

23. I like this.
My paternal ancestors got to Pennsylvania between 1680 and 1740, but my father did not speak English until he started school in 1915, because, being Mennonite, they spoke Pennsylvania German at home.

37. I can easily imagine teabaggers looking at that, and thinking they're already...
...taking the advice.

They'd just think to themselves that they aren't being afraid because they're "standing up" to other Americans (liberals, anyone not just like them), they're "standing up" to other religions (Islam, the evil godless forces of secularism). It's teabaggers, after all, who are showing less fear of radical Islam, by blithely not worrying that their burning of Qurans and protests against the building of Islamic community centers (AKA "victory mosques"), than the people who warn them against stupidly stirring up trouble.

They'll claim that it's Democrats and liberals who are "afraid" of "other classes" (the rich), fear they demonstrate by trying to tax and regulate them more.

And incoherent gibberish though it may be, no one can accuse the teabaggers of not "speaking out".

If this graphic is so popular, it's probably because lots of people think that they their the ones who "get it", even people with wildly different politics and attitudes.

42. Agreed. Just off the top of my head I can think of 3 similar quips that can be used
by either side:

"If you're not outraged, you're not paying attention!"

"I love my Country but I'm afraid of my Government."

"Against abortion? don't have one!"

Just my $0.02 because when I see one of these phrases used by someone I can't help but wonder which side they're on.

Sorry Canada, Mexico, Guatemala, Venezuela, Brazil, Chile, Argentina et al you're just not "American" enough to be a true "American".

American only means USA when you're from the USA but when you're from Mexico you're just outta luck...

"Hola! Where are you from?"

"America"

"Oh really, which one? North, Central or South"

"No you idiot. I said I am from THE America. That means I am from the United States of America". America = American. Moran..."

;)
