Did congress ever pass that bill to eliminate their COLA raise |

for 2011? I google but all I can find is info on the proposed bill, not if it passed or not.

bitching about congress getting a raise & SS recipiants not getting one, and that everyone should vote AGAINST those damn Dems! I wanted to be able to tell her that they passed on theirs too, at least for 2011 but I can;t find confirmation.

The bill that passed was H.R. 5416 : "To provide that Members of Congress shall not receive a cost of living adjustment in pay during fiscal year 2011".
