More On Florida Senate Race...
Been checking here and there for information on this Senate race and I know it has been a hot topic discussion here. So I found this for anyone to look at. Just thought "some" would like to read it. I've made my comments, so have at it.

Dems driven to Crist over fear of Rubio
--------------------

By Jane Musgrave, The Palm Beach Post

Carol Roberts became a national celebrity in 2000 when, as a Palm Beach County commissioner, she fought vociferously, if unsuccessfully, for every dimpled, hanging and pregnant chad to be counted as a vote for Democratic presidential candidate Al Gore.

1. And my aunt, who plans to leave FL, will still vote for Meek
Edited on Mon Sep-27-10 10:53 AM by The Northerner
and so should EVERY Floridian Dem there.

I find it difficult for FL progressives to even consider voting for a former Repub.

If only more of them stood with Meek then his polling numbers could've have been much better.

2. I'm Not Going To Rehash All My Comments Previously Made Here...
Just wanted to let others know how difficult it is for us down here in Florida. I don't think any of us like the situation, but keeping RUBIO from winning is all that matters to many here. Still, I'm not sure he won't win!

As I said, have at it.

5. If we keep the Senate what could Rubio do?
He would be a junior Senator with no real support for radical action..

3. I am still unconvinced that voting for Crist will somehow strengthen
the FL democratic party or keep us from the whims of the tea party.

6. Driven to a Republican over fear of a Republican!
This way, the Republicans can come in first and second. I note that none of the Crist promoters here can show so much as a poll that supports their theory that Crist can beat Rubio. So the Democrats who vote for Crist are helping to elect Rubio, helping to build those numbers, and they are in fact, allowing Crist to rat fuck them gleefully. Crist stood on stage with Palin chanting 'drill baby drill'. Vote for that and you are not much of a Democrat in my book.
