"The new dynamic, however, has moved past the old Left Right paradigm. We now live in an era defined by increasing Corporate influence and authority over the individual. These two “interest groups” – I can barely suppress snorting derisively over that phrase – have been on a headlong collision course for decades, which came to a head with the financial collapse and bailouts. Where there is massive concentrations of wealth and influence, there will be abuse of power.  The Individual has been supplanted in the political process nearly entirely by corporate money, legislative influence, campaign contributions, even free speech rights.."

So how should we engage the enemy when half the country is enthralled by the rich, or too scared to show their displeasure.

1. And they are using many have nots cheering for their own destruction
The Right Wing and their M$M machine do a good job of deceiving many unwitting low, middle income people into buying their schemes and voting for the GOP or Tea Baggers to speed the destruction of the middle class.

2. oh yeah. And they cheat. The richer they get, the more they can cheat.
We are fast losing our democracy, the tiny scrap of it we have left since Diebold began screwing us over.

3. It has always been about the power to direct governments.
And it has forever been true that 'wealth' manifests power by bending people seeking 'wealth' to the will of those with the 'wealth.'

It's so very deep a pattern in our culture that it's even part of western civilization's dominant theologies...God has the power to grant immortal happiness, he only will grant it to those lesser beings who worship him and bend to do his will.

4. They are as William Kristol said "We are pulling up the drawbridge"
against us. They don't want upward mobility. It doesn't serve their purposes. Destroy the middle class because that is where revolutions are born. The poor are too busy trying to survive, or too willing to believe their pastors when they tell them to render unto Caesar.
