Does Anybody Know What Olberman Was Talking About Regarding The Senate And The Lame Duck Session ??? |
|
He seemed to be suggesting that the three appointed Senators would not be able to vote in the lame duck session after the election.
Do they lose their seats/right to vote as soon as somebody is elected to their seat in November?
Do the new Senators come in and take their seats immediately instead of waiting to be sworn in 2011?
Did I hear this whole thing wrong?
Anybody else catch that, and if so... please esplain, Lucy !

1. I am pretty sure that is the case |

only it is five, not three. We have appointees in WV, CO, IL, NY, and DE. We are currently very far ahead in two, ahead in one, a little behind in one, and pretty far behind in one.
