5. I think sometimes a dark horse pick is the one to go
with.

I'll say there may be strong consideration for any Democrat who is possibly upset in a statewide contest this fall, but who deserved to win on merit alone, and who would be good at the executive function job of Chief of Staff.

My hope is that there would be no one available owing to those Democrats all winning their contests.
