GOP stars put Fox News in dicey spot
Fox primary: complicated, contractual

With Sarah Palin, Newt Gingrich, Rick Santorum and Mike Huckabee all making moves indicating they may run for president, their common employer is facing a question that hasn’t been asked before: How does a news organization cover White House hopefuls when so many are on the payroll?

The answer is a complicated one for Fox News. (See: GOP's struggles play out on Fox)

As Fox’s popularity grows among conservatives, the presence of four potentially serious Republican candidates as paid contributors is beginning to frustrate competitors of the network, figures within its own news division and rivals of what some GOP insiders have begun calling “the Fox candidates.”

1. "potentially serious"
The only thing serious about any of those aforementioned "candidates" is their serious absence of intellect.

3. " 'As Fox’s popularity grows among conservatives'!"
foxnews cannot possibly 'grow' among the upchucks....the rightwing news media 'swooned' horny when reagan was on...they went daft for geebush1 and ...absolutely priaptic when junyer the youngster bush ...have we all forgotten the 'mancrush crowd' at cnn and so on?
fact: rightwingers (so called 'conservatives') don't think with their haids- they think with their ears (they're told what to think) and such stupidity remains as always - roughly 1/3rd of the adult demographic. Iow, foxnews can't grow in popularity. That's mathematically impossible

4. Cat Fights Anyone???
It's always easy being the party on the outside...you can criticize and incite and there's plenty of frustration to go around. However if the GOTB does gain any power this November (:scared) it will open up a nice civil war within as everyone will try to claim victory and then assume they're the center of the political universe. What happens if Gnewt calls Mooselini the grifter she is or Hucklenutz alludes to Mitten's magic underware? This could be fun...and rip that network to shreads.

I had to laugh when Jon Stewart told O'Reilly last night that the halls were lined with people looking at Stewart and saying "get me out of here"...

5. Not dicey at all. They will just continue to spew their usual propaganda.
Instead of paying them, they will just make political "contributions".

meh, this is a story, why?

The ministry of information as got us covered.
