1. A five-point Toomey lead among registered voters is not particularly close.
I would feel better if it were "likely."

6. Toomey had been running ads since early summer
I don't watch much TV but I catch a bit at dinner or going out for a smoke. His ads are definitely at saturation level. I can't say how other people react but with that level of exposure it just turns me off. Glad Sestak held off until the last few weeks. No need to waste your money running ads that have little if any benefit.
