8. OMG, my daughters like Wizard of Oz with Dorothy!!!1111 What does that mean?
And I've let them enjoy Scrabble! (gasp!) They've had sleepovers with girls their own age (unfuckingbelievable, I know), and they like the odd Barbara Streisand tune as well as Audrey Hepburn!!!111!!!111

But I've never clued them in to the evil rainbow cubcake conspiracy to warn them off of the evils of ... well, rainbow cubcakes! They've actually eaten rainbow food! Kee-rist! What a fucking nightmare!

(:sarcasm: )

Honestly, I swear could people get anymore nuts? First there are folks reading too much into Sesame St. costumes and now this?! Can't something just be an innocent thing? And the adults can get the meaning (if there is any meaning), while the kids are just kids?

9. His real fear is that they will catch a dose of compassion...
I'll bet he refuses to serve chocolate cookies or snickerdoodles either... given the other sources of right-wing fear.

10. Soooo.... 'Rainbows' = 'obscenity' now?
Can you imagine the scars those little girls might suffer after a rainshower?

11. The lame excuse was used when I went to rent a cottage.
The landlords had a provision in the lease that I couldn't have any "overnight guests" due to their "impressionable" daughter.

Knowing my proclivities and the high risk of eviction (if not, then litigation), I decided to pass on the opportunity.

that he's a bigoted arsewipe.

13. I seem to recall a landscaping service saying the same thing
& the backlash was phenomenal. I wonder if they're still in business?

14. Well, on the one hand, the stupidity boggles
but on the other hand, the bakery lost a large order to stupidity so their is some instant karma.

15. Here's hoping at least one of his daughters is gay.
Then again, having such an extreme 'phobe for a father would be terrible. It would just be perfect karma, though, wouldn't it?
