Mohammed meets Cheney, other top American officials

WASHINGTON — General Shaikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Abu Dhabi Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, continued his meetings with top US officials and leaders yesterday.

Gen. Shaikh Mohammed is accompanied in his visit by Shaikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Foreign Minister, and senior officials.

Gen. Shaikh Mohammed met US Vice-President Dick Cheney at Vice-President's residence in Washington, D.C.

Present were Shaikh Abdullah bin Zayed, Elizabeth Cheney, daughter of Dick Cheney, Saqr Gobash, UAE Ambassador to the US, and Yousuf Al Otaiba, Director of International Affairs Department at the Crown Prince's Court.

Cheney held a luncheon in honour of Gen. Shaikh Mohammed and Shaikh Abdullah. Present at the luncheon which was held at vice-president's residence were Elizabeth Cheney, Otaiba and Gobash.
